My mom always wanted me to become a doctor. OOPs!!! the inner Ritwik yelled who will remember that much Biology? That was the sole reason I joined engineering and that too Electrical. So, for my higher studies & in order to pursue my career in research, I drifted to IIT Kharagpur. But fate always has the most unexpected twists & turns in your life. Instead of joining PhD, somehow I got fascinated with a newborn startup named mBreath Technologies there which was working on developing an AI-enabled wireless multiperson sleep assistant. With an abundant zeal to learn, I started there as an intern learning about the statistical analysis of data. But the one thing we understood was that our every decision was going to affect the company in someway may it be good or bad. So, having a small team and with a burden of growing a company to great heights was a challenge which required business expertise. Hence, I drifted on to the business domain & gradually paved my way to becoming the Co-Founder and Chief Business Officer of the company where my role was to handle the business administration, financials and as well as operations of the company headquarters at NSRCEL, IIM-Bangalore. The pleasure of winning various national and international level competitions through the pain of not having enough resources to pull those off was the beauty of the whole thing. The memories of the whole entrepreneurial journey from being an intern to being the founder of the same company are something I am proud of and cherish it lifelong. But that being said, once a goal is always a goal. Having done my Masters, I do understand the pain and ecstasy of research work and the perseverance, patience and efforts required for even a small task or project to bring it to a comprehensive end. Hence, I became a junior research fellow(PhD scholar) at IIT Kharagpur, working in the E-Business domain. So long story short, anyhow my mom was happy as ultimately I was becoming a Doctor. My specialities are in the field of Data & Business Analytics, Python, Matlab, C, C++, HTML, CSS, Web Design through Django, etc.
