Overview

In celebration of golden jubilee of the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering IIT Kharagpur, we invite applications for participating and presenting your research work in International Conference on Industrial Engineering & Analytics (ICONIEA) 2024 to be conducted in hybrid mode (both on-campus and via online platform). Under the theme of 'Data to Decisions', the ICONIEA 2024 aims to bring together the experts in the domain of Industrial Engineering from academia and industry to share the recent advances in the areas of Operations Research, Data Analytics, Operations Management, Quality Management, Human Factors, Ergonomics, Safety Engineering, Manufacturing and Service Sciences. This conference aspires to provide a platform of interaction through which future directions of research and development will be explored. *Accepted articles will be published in Springer edited books.

About IIT Kharagpur

Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur was established in 1951 at Hijli beside Kharagpur, as the first of the IITs. The institute has been awarded the status of "Institute of Eminence" by the Govt. of India. There are at present 54 academic units, including departments, centers, schools and research units that caters to the specific requirements of the country and which are fully equipped with modern laboratories and classrooms. Apart from the academic departments in all streams of engineering, sciences and humanities, many unique centers and schools such as Centre of Excellence in Artificial Intelligence, Advanced Manufacturing Technology, Safety Engineering and Analytics , School of Nano-Science and Technology, School of Medical Science and Technology are set up to administer concentrated effort in research, outreach and consultancy in these contemporary areas.

About the Department of Industrial & Systems engineering (ISE)

The Department of Industrial & Systems Engineering (ISE) was established as Industrial Management Centre in 1973. During 50 years of its existence, the department has earned its reputation across the world for excellent teaching and research in the fields of Operations Research, Data Analytics, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Quality Engineering, Information Systems and E-Business, System Thinking and Policy Planning, Human Factors Engineering and Ergonomics, Safety Analytics and Virtual Reality, and Healthcare Systems.
